Where are the Herts Falcons NBL home games taking place?
When do the games take place?
There are four Falcons home regular season game days (dates and times may be subject to change due to weather or other reasons):
- 1pm, Saturday, 22 April 2023, vs London Mets
- 1pm, Sunday, 14 May 2023, vs Sheffield Bruins
- 1pm, Sunday, 28 May 2023, vs Essex Arrows
- 12pm, Sunday, 16 July 2023, vs East London Latin Boys
How long does the game day last?
Most NBL game days are doubleheaders which means that the teams play two 7-inning games on that day. The average NBL baseball game lasts around two and a half hours, though there is no time limit as it is not dictated by a clock. Teams alternate between batting and fielding across seven innings. If the game is tied after seven innings, the game will continue until a winner emerges. There is a break of around 30 minutes after the first game and then the second game begins.
Is baseball a family friendly event?
Yes. Herts Falcons NBL home games are an inclusive event for all ages. Tickets for children under 16 (on the day of the game) are available at very affordable prices. Any ticket holder under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years of age or over.

When do tickets go on sale?
Season tickets and Single Game Day Tickets will go on sale shortly after the NBL schedule is published.
Are there home and away team-specific seating sections?
Unlike American MLB ballparks, Herts will adopt the British tradition of providing separate spectator areas for home and away fans. Home fans will be on the third base side which can accommodate a greater number of people, while away fans will be on the first base side.
How do I purchase tickets?
We advise fans to buy their ticket online before the day of the event at hertsbaseball.com/tickets
Tickets may also be available to buy in person at the ballpark but, to avoid potential long queues or the risk of tickets to some or all parts of the ballpark being sold out, we recommend you buy your ticket online as early as possible.
How much will the tickets cost?
Tickets vary in price depending on their category. Single tickets start from £1 for children and £2 for adults. These are tickets at ultra low prices for fans who would like to bring their own seats.
Tickets with seats on the first and third base line are priced £5 for adults and £2 for children.
There is a limited number of premium seats which are located behind home plate and they will give those fans an up-close view of the pitcher-versus-batter duel. If demand for premium tickets is high, the club can look to add more in future seasons.

How will I receive my ticket(s)?
You will receive an email confirming your ticket purchase and it will be validated when you enter the ballpark. Upon arrival at the ballpark entrance, you can either give your Ticket Order Number shown in your email confirmation, or show a copy of it on your phone, or print the email confirming your ticket and bring it to the ballpark.
What if a game is rescheduled because of rain or other reasons?
If an NBL Game Day is not played and the game is rescheduled as a stand-alone game day, your paid ticket is valid and can be used for admission to the make-up game.
Fans who do not wish to use their ticket for admission to the make-up game may exchange it for a ticket comparable in price and location to another eligible Falcons regular season home game at Grovehill Ballpark during the 2023 regular season, in each case subject to availability. No refunds will be given.
What if a game is cancelled and not rescheduled?
Fans may exchange the ticket of the cancelled game for a ticket comparable in price and location to another eligible Falcons regular season home game at Grovehill Ballpark during the 2023 regular season, in each case subject to availability. Restrictions may apply. To exchange your ticket contact us.
No refunds will be given.
In the event that the cancelled game is the last game of the regular season, fans may exchange the ticket of the cancelled game for a ticket comparable in price and location to another eligible Falcons regular season home game at Grovehill Ballpark during the 2024 regular season, in each case subject to availability. Is there an age restriction for Herts Falcons NBL home games?
Fans of all ages are welcome. However, under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over at all times.
Are there children’s tickets available?
Tickets for children under 16 (on the day of the game) are available at very affordable prices.
Grovehill Ballpark Venue Information
What time can I enter the ballpark?
Grovehill Ballpark will open for ticketholders around one hour and thirty minutes before the first pitch.

Is there parking available?
A large number of car park spaces are available at the venue, all of which are free of charge.
Can I bring a pram/stroller?
Yes.
Can I bring a bag into the ballpark?
Yes.
Can I bring a dog to the ballpark?
Yes, provided that you take all necessary steps to ensure that the dog is not a threat to people around the venue. There may be game days where we invite fans to bring their dogs to the ballpark and more information will be published ahead of those events.
Will there be alcohol on sale?
No. There may be game days which are fully licensed and alcoholic beverages are on sale and more information will be published ahead of those events.
Can I bring food and beverage into the ballpark?
Food and beverage options will be available inside the ballpark and we hope fans will take advantage of that. If you have special dietary needs, you are welcome to bring food and drinks of your choice.
